Thomas Moore says...

"Off I fly, careering far/ In chase of Pollys, prettier far/ Than any of their namesakes are, / —The Polymaths and Polyhistors, Polyglots and all their sisters."

This is where the party ends?

Hello, old blog. You look .... older.

Evil Facebook has consumed my chit chat online allowance.

Clean slate.

Hello old blog.

Let's see... since we last confessed there's been a canoe trip with Mark (excellent), Christmas with family (excellent), New Year in a paddock (excellent), and lovely long visit from Nolie including Christmas and New Year (excellent).

Also, we have made a CD and tidied our room.

Outstanding!

Happy New Year to you.

Various events.

My lovely friend Lexifab has been putting me to shame with his excellent updates. I think being too busy to blog is probably quite helpful.

I am not too busy to blog, but I don't know which of the various events in life to blog about.

So here's one, anyway. It's no more significant than any other. But here it is.

We planted a black mulberry tree right down the back of the yard, a long way from power lines,
and with the full western sun to get it going. My Nana had one, huge and fun to climb with purple stained hands, and we hope this also becomes a mighty tree.

It is a lot of fun to plant trees.

Winsome Winston

I saw Winston. Yes I did. And it was excellent and exciting. I also saw The Anti-Chris which was also excellent although considerably less exciting on account of it happens more often.

There were many old friends and family and hometown haunts. It was grand.

Hometown Outpost

In the heart of the nation, there's a triangle of houses that contain people, coffee mugs, t-shirts, games, books and stories I know, from my hometown. A little hometown outpost. I like to visit.
