The consolation of philosophy.

What a storm in my teacup was today.

Luckily I had my volume of "Consolations of Philosophy", that wonderful work of Boethius, to steady and console me. All is well.

the pain medication the doc has put me on is really creating tempests in my teacup.

perhaps I will invest in this volume as some sort of mental crutch...

I earnestly recommend reading Confederacy of Dunces first (go tell chronology to go hike a wormhole in time) - i enjoyed Boethius so much more this time round than the first (pre Confederacy) time and I don't think it was just that the translation has improved.

Victor someone was the better translator.
I will google, and return. Love to you.
