I went fishing and caught a pretty fish.

Sometimes I like to google weird phrases and see what is out there.

Tonight I googled something like "I'm totally done selling out to the patriarchy" (as you do) and lo and behold I found this.
This isn't a recommendation. Though I may recommend this site, later, if it's good.

In other news ...

I went to Stormy Point today for a swim. The morning was so warm and the sun so bright and by lunchtime I thought "mid winter or no, it's warm enough to swim" and by one o'clock in the afternoon I had fallen enough in love with the idea of swimming in the Great Southern Ocean in the middle of winter so as to nab a friend and actually go to the ocean.

I had half expected to arrive to a storm and stumble about kicking broken shells for a bit before grumpily going home.

Instead there was strong and bright sunshine and I was so, so, so, so, so, so glad to be there.
And I swam for an hour.
It was wonderful.
