Beginnings and endings.
Things have been rather tumultuous here at Polly HQ. We've just handed in our resignation. Things got really horrible at work - too horrible. The kind of horrible that requires a fair bit more than $12.75 an hour. It was starting to affect our never too reliable mental health.
Trouble is at a bit of a loose end, so we bought her a bright green office chair. She likes to sit in it, and spin around. It seems to be keeping her busy. There's also been all the fun of draft and fantasy resignation letters. Most entertaining so far - a photocopy of our bottom with "Kiss It" written on it in "Cherry Blossom" lipstick.
There's been a bit of talk about going back to Sugar, the novel we abandoned when it failed to win the Vogel Prize. The bright green office chair will probably come in handy for that.
And speaking of creative projects - congratulations to the Beast & Ms Wonderland.

I am sorry work went rotten...other people are always the most difficult thing about work. I liked the bum kiss. I hope the one you actually sent was as imaginative.
Are you feeling that you could share your work??
I am still dying to read the manuscript. I have an ftp site that you could pop it up on if you are willing. ......
for christmas
Oh and it must be time for lamb dressed as ham.
I hope you have some wonderful things planned for the festive season.
Congratulations!
I am very impressed that you made such a difficult decision.
Hugs to Trouble. I know how aweful the unemployed feeling is.
Huzzah for Sugar.
Write it, go on - I dare you.
Thank you Ms Polly.
Ends are as important as beginnings as change is the stuff of life. Congrats on the resignation.
