Welcome Wednesday.

This is the day she arrived for good.

Welcome, Wednesday.

Born on April 12th, she is 6 and a half weeks old.
Too young, but her mum has run out of milk.

Slower than a wet Wednesday.

We like routines. Every Wednesday we go to work and now that we know the best responses to all 200 different stupid things people can do at work it's okay for lots of us to be there. Customer A isn't there to compare their Polly to Customer B's Polly. It doesn't matter if we're different. As long as we are in the range of acceptable customer service of course.
(Pia, I'm looking at you.)

We get to make the same jokes too, sometimes several times a day. This is fun for us because we like repetition. And it's an ongoing experiment in comic timing. Also fun. The two main jokes we have I will share with you today. Right here. Right now.

Joke 1. If it is raining and someone says something along the lines of "Bet it's been quiet today" we say "It's slower than a wet Wednesday."

Joke 2. If they discover that their car (we charge by the car) is eligible for a concession rate because somebody in the car is a pensioner and are considerably cheered up by that fact and there's another person in the car who's ALSO eligible for a concession who jokes that they should get a discount too we say "Pretty Soon I'll Be Giving YOU Money."

Trouble.
